TitanHQ Honored at 2016 Red Herring Europe Awards

TitanHQ was recognized at this year’s 2016 Red Herring Europe Awards as being one of the most promising private technology ventures in Europe, gathering a Red Herring top 100 Europe Award.

Red Herring is a prestigious media company that unites venture investors and business decision makers with the world’s best technology innovators. Each year, nominated companies in the European business region are evaluated on 20 criteria including technology innovation, disruptive impact, proof of concept, financial performance, quality of management, market footprint, and execution of strategy.

While the potential of a company is assessed, the Red Herring awards panel also look at each company’s track record. Many award programs recognize potential, yet the Red Herring awards look much deeper and cut through all the hype. The Red Herring Top 100 Europe Awards list therefore helps venture investors discover the best business opportunities in the industry and provides unparalleled insights on the emerging technologies driving the economy.

The editors at Red Herring were amongst the first to recognize the potential of some of today’s best known companies including Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, YouTube, Alibaba, and Google.

Being selected for the Red Herring Europe Awards is a tremendous achievement, and one that is becoming harder each year. According to Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring, “Each year, the competition gets tougher but we believe TitanHQ demonstrates the vision, drive and innovation that define a Red Herring Top 100 company.”

In the words of Ronan Kavanagh, CEO of TitanHQ, “This recognition from Red Herring combined with our recent awards is a wonderful acknowledgment of how our security solutions are resonating with businesses today.” Ronan went on to say, “The investments we have been putting into continually developing our email and web security solutions over the last five years is making the difference not just for our business, but for our customers’ businesses too.”

TitanHQ Receives ITAG Enterprise Award for Excellence and Innovation

Each year, the Information Technology Association of Galway (ITAG) hosts a glittering awards ceremony to celebrate local companies that have made exceptional contributions in the field of Information Technology.

Each year a host of companies are assessed for their contributions and achievements over the course of the year. The main aim of the award program is to encourage, promote, and strengthen the Information technology industry in the west of Ireland and to encourage growth in the IT sector. The ITAG award program is now in its 14th year and has helped to raise awareness of the efforts of West of Ireland companies and to promote the sterling work of Galway-based technology companies.

The highly coveted ITAG Awards are issued for excellence and help to promote new talent, recognize the potential in start-up organizations, celebrate IT in the community, and special achievements by individuals working in the IT sector.

The effort and commitment of the TitanHQ team was recognised this year, with the company receiving the 2016 Enterprise Award for excellence and for TitanHQ’s outstanding contribution as product innovators.

The awards panel rated TitanHQ as a center of technical excellence, a driver of regional economic growth, and for the company’s contributions in Galway and around the world.

The ITAG award is the latest in a string of awards bestowed upon the TitanHQ in recent months, adding to the SC (Secure Computing) magazine award, a Red Herring award, three consecutive awards from Virus Bulletin, and CRN’s (Computer Reseller News) Coolest Vendor.
